Privacy and confidentiality
Your privacy matters. Information shared through this website or in psychotherapy is handled with care and in accordance with applicable Ontario privacy requirements.
Please avoid sending highly sensitive personal or health information through the website contact form. It is intended for general inquiries only. Privacy and confidentiality limits, including situations where disclosure may be required or permitted by law, will be reviewed before services begin.
Informed consent
Psychotherapy is collaborative. Before beginning services, you will have an opportunity to discuss the nature of online care, potential benefits and risks, fees, cancellation expectations, privacy considerations, and alternatives so you can make an informed choice.
Consent is ongoing. You can ask questions, raise concerns, or reconsider your participation at any point.
Accessibility and accommodations
The practice aims to provide an accessible and respectful online experience. If you need an accommodation, communication support, or an adjustment to participate in virtual care, please share what would be helpful when you contact the practice.
Requests will be considered individually and in good faith. If a requested accommodation cannot be provided, available alternatives will be discussed.
Urgent and crisis support
This practice is not an emergency or crisis service, and email or website messages are not monitored continuously.
If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, call 911, go to the nearest emergency department, or contact a local crisis service. In Canada, you can call or text 9-8-8 for suicide crisis support, available 24/7.
