About me
I am a compassionate and client-centred Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through a wide range of mental health and life challenges. My clinical experience has allowed me to work with individuals navigating anxiety, emotional and behavioural challenges, life stressors, developmental disabilities, brain injury, trauma, and other complex needs.
My approach to therapy is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while recognizing that every individual is unique. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel heard, respected, and supported. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand their experiences, develop practical coping strategies, build emotional resilience, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
Before entering my psychotherapy practice, I gained extensive experience in behavioural and community-based settings. I have worked as a Behaviour Therapist within an interdisciplinary hospital team, providing behavioural assessment, intervention planning, and support to individuals and their families. I have also supported individuals living with dual diagnoses and the effects of brain injury, and provided crisis counselling to women who had experienced violence and abuse. My earlier work with children with developmental disabilities further strengthened my understanding of individualized care, behavioural interventions, and the importance of meeting each person where they are.
These experiences have shaped my belief that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive space where clients can feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and challenges.
Whether you are struggling with a specific mental health concern, navigating a difficult transition, or simply feeling stuck and looking for support, I am here to walk alongside you. Together, we can work toward greater self-understanding, healthier coping strategies, and improved overall well-being.

How I work
My approach is collaborative and relational. Therapy is a space where you can slow down, explore what you're experiencing, and better understand what you need moving forward. Together, we can address both the practical challenges in your life and the deeper patterns or questions beneath them.

We begin by understanding your experiences with curiosity and without judgment.
You know your life best. My role is to help you explore your experiences, recognize patterns, and find approaches that feel meaningful and realistic for you.
Meaningful change doesn't have to happen all at once. Small, sustainable shifts can make a lasting difference.
